UvagutTV Celebration

Elders, spokespersons and performers from across Inuit Nunangat join co-hosts Lucy Tulugarjuk and Zacharias Kunuk for a special two-hour live program to celebrate the launch of Uvagut TV - Canada's first Inuktut television channel. Featuring throat singing, drum dancing as well as performances by opera singer Deantha Edmunds from Nunatsiavut, "Inuindie' singer-songwriter Beatrice Deer from Nunavik, Igloolik's Angela Amarualik whose fusion style blends traditional and pop music, multi-disciplinary performer-musician Terry Uyarak also from Igloolik, filmmaker and singer Susan Avingaq, master carver and drum-dancer Pacome Qulaut and throat singer Eulalie Angutimmarik.
