Philippines: Government Turns Over Financial Assistance To Indigenous Peoples Gov. Alfredo G. Marañon, Jr. turned over a check worth P100,000 to the indigenous peoples of Isabela town and cities of Silay and Cadiz, yesterday, representing as assistance for their traditional craft business. Of the total amount, P40,000 will go to the “Ati tribe” of Sitio Marikudo, Brgy. Camangcamang, Municipality of Isabela; P30,000 will go to the “Ata tribe” of Sitio Manara, Brgy.
