Nukik Corporation is leading a proposed project of a 1,200km hydro-fibre link, from Manitoba’s grid into the Kivalliq region of Nunavut, directly benefiting the communities of Arviat, Baker Lake, Chesterfield Inlet, Rankin Inlet and Whale Cove.
This potential project could see communities get off diesel generation, and heat, light and connect their homes and businesses with clean, renewable power and reliable Internet.
